My Pink Stamper Challenge #5

This past Saturday, I went to AC Moore because I wanted to buy the Martha Stewart scoring board.  I also bought a few other things since they were having Double Rewards Points for purchases of $25 or more.  Haha, they really get me there!  Anyway, the first thing I made was one of those gateway cards or whatever they're called.  This following item is the SECOND thing I made with my new scoring board!

Challenge #5- Any 3-D item OR if that is too much of a challenge then add a 3-D item on your scrapbook page or card!
(MyPinkStamper post here)

I made a box!  I followed the directions and cut out two 8x8 pieces of paper and scored it in the right places, snipped a few edges, and glued it all together.

The flower was cut from Sweet Treats if I'm remembering correctly.  This is actually the same flower I cut for my mom's Mother's Day card.  I like how it came out with the blue (her favorite color is blue), so that's why I decided to stick with it for this one.  I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to emboss the biggest petals.

I thought the sides looked a little boring, so I took the same colored paper and punched the flower pattern using one of my new Martha Stewart punches.  I like that it matches the flower on top fairly well!  I also think it brings the entire box together a bit more.

I like knowing that when possible, I can just make a little box for a small gift!  BTW, I love that they take in account that the lid has to be a bit bigger than the bottom so it slips on and off easily!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #8

This was actually the first challenge I did.  It was clear that I would do pink and green flip flops because they're the colors for Howard and me!  These aren't our exactly wedding colors, but I still get very excited with pink and green things!

Challenge #8--Make a summer themed project!
(MyPinkStamper post here)

Details: The flip flops are from the Life is a Beach cartridge.  The sentiment is from a $1 set that I got from Michaels.  I understand now why they're just $1.  They don't stamp as well as the other stamps.  It makes sense why the other people sell their sets online for $16 or so.  Anyway, I chose the brown paper because it reminded me of sand.

I admit that I'm not actually that happy with this card.  I would've liked to spend more time trying to figure out colors and such.  After I did this one, I reminded myself that the challenges were for fun!  Haha.  I didn't have to stress myself out so much!  This does, however, mean summer to me.  I really don't wear anything else in the summer except for flips!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #12

I've never done a challenge before, but I figured this would be a fun time to try it out on National Scrapbook Day this past Saturday!  I didn't have a chance to do any projects for the challenges until last night though since Saturday was spent working on a birthday card for my 22 year old cousin and a card for my mom for Mother's Day.  I wish I could take off work and continue crafting!

Challenge #12--Make a Scrapbook Page, Card, or other with a Kid's theme!
(MyPinkStamper post here)

Details: The bike is from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge.  I love the intricacy of it.  Haha, I know it's not THAT intricate, but for me, it is!  Then I used a Martha Stewart Stars punch.  The sentiment is from Pink by Design.  I figured I'd make a kids card as if the kid just learned how to ride a bike!

I'll come home after a long day of teaching and NO prep periods as well as tutoring and possibly state test grading and post the few others I was able to do.  And then I have to continue working on my scrapbook layout page!  My FIRST ONE!
